my mitsu build thingy! Empty my mitsu build thingy!

Post by onelozu Fri May 20, 2011 12:45 am

well, figured id make a thread for my junk..

the story behind it is,my friends neighbor had the truck, with plans of laying it out,he ripped out all the ac(which consisted of the belt and tensioner pullly),well i was on the look for a daily, and asked him about it,he was asking 500,but it had title issues, told him i wasnt sure a couple times and he lowered the price to something i couldnt refuse. ended up with the truck in my driveway and a whole 150 bones in his pocket. when i got it the starter was locked up so i traded someone my ashtray for his extra. got the truck running for the first time in about 2 years and i was stoked! he told me it had severe wiring problems like the alt circuit wouldnt keep a fuse ect ect well the alt was bad, pushing 18 volts at idle isnt too healthy. then everything else started working over time and now the only thing that doesnt work are the reverse lights and i just recently got it on the road "legally". now on to the pictures that i know youve already skipped to because of this long ass boring story

nah im probably just going to get a junk yard trans with a warranty, since money is tight and all,but as soon as im back on my feet ill get this one rebuilt and put it in

but even though its just a transmission swap im going to take this downtime to do a mini notch and cut bumpstop brackets up front so itll ride better, and just clean alot of stuff up and make it look good
