    currently gathering parts to do the rear of my fronty...neil braun will be welding it on, but i need someone who knows their shit with 4 links to help me set it up...

    like how to account for instant center, pinion angle change thru full suspension travel, and all that good stuff.

    i have hundreds of pics from other nissans, and i read a Max Fish article and a couple others online, and that's about the extent of my knowledge.

    it will be a bag-over-axle setup with a triangulated 4 link with the bars like this |/ \|

    I know it's not what your asking about, but IMO bags on axle suck. Not much lift and alot stiffer ride.

    hogg is right, but in some cases and with limited knowledge and funds u have no choice, but if u really want it dont right and have it be something ur proud of and especially if its ur daily driver, wait to do a bag on bar

    We have 6 trucks running around where I live with bag on bars. ONE had them on axle. Needless to say it didn't last long.

    It is easier, but not worth it.

    yeah mine is on axle now with a temp 2 link when i start my new job im building a 4 link

    well i was gonna use a 2600lb bag with some good shocks, will the ride still be that bad?

    i was on the fence between BOA or BOB...but i ordered these brackets yesterday along with some other goodies. i can still use these for bag on bar if i decide to go that route can't i?

    popps did my link just like what you want. you need a magnetic level and alot of measuring. look at my build and see how we did mine.

    boa is alot more reliable but not as much lift bob has more lift less reliable haha but im sure you know this haha so they both have equal pros and equal cons haha and if you dont like it its just as easy to cut it off

    yea i wasn't too worried about the lift in the back. the dominator 2600 should give me plenty if it was boa. i have time to decide tho

    Smile I know how to as far as basics, but I have never actually welded one up. unless you plan on puttin a v8 or similar in i wouldnt worry about TOO much. just read up on instant and roll centers.
