Been on customdakotas.com for a bit, and saw a post by jacob on there about this forum. Thought i'd get on here and see how it was. So obviously I live in columbus, Ga. I own a 2004 Dodge Dakota Sxt. I've changed out the headlights, taillights, 3rd brake light, mirrors, antenna, tinted the windows(20% up from and 5% in the back), painted the front and back bumpers, and changed out all the audio. but enough talking, heres some pics.

When I got the new truck

Probably don't want soliciting on here..but I'm trying to start up a graphics business on the side to help get money for the the truck(and other bills...). All the stuff done under "Changed some graphics" were personally done by me. So if anyone ever needs anything. I can hook yall up unless you already have someone do stuff for you.

I was considering going the bag route, but honestly.. i just dont know enough about the stuff to even mess with it. So I'm gonna probably just go the static drop route. Maybe like a 2" in the front and 4" in the rear. And definitely gonna get some rims. The painted look is fine for now, but i'm dying for some chrome

and as far as the soliciting, just didn't wanna step on anyone's toes. some of the other forums i'm on already have decal shops registered on there so i didn't wanna say much on them. I work for a whole seller that sells to the local vinyl shops so i cant exactly advertise in town(been told id be fired), so the internet was the only route lol.

ah that sucks. but yea, i went with the static drop bc it was cheap quick and easy. plus im not ready to hack up my truck. we have plenty of ppl on here that are very familiar with bags so feel free to ask questions on anything. thats what we're here for.

or if your goin 2/4 you should get spindels and 3'' blocks and pull a leaf. thats about 220$, then you also should consider drop shocks.

    Welcome to the forum.

Springs are cheaper, but rougher and not as good on your front end. With spindles it lowers everything so no need in a front end alignment. So when you look at buying springs and an alignment, you spent what it cost on spindles. And it still rides closer to stock.

I would advise agaisnt ever cutting the coils. That makes for a horrible ride, they can collapse after a while. Plus its really hard to get the front end back straight when you do it. Unless you know exactly what your doing.

Here are the springs we pulled from my buddys truck that were heated.

Thanks. Im not the smartest person messing with trucks, but so many people only halfway do them as cheap as possible where I live and I learned. I never went the cheap way with any of mine. But as you can see by the coils I posted people do screw up when they try and go cheap.

Plus getting spindles lowers your center of gravity... meaning better handeling.

That's where I got my drop before bags. Wasn't to bad for an s10. But they are expensive. Just look all over the place. You can get lucky on ebay and find some people who sell with regular warranties and stuff.

NO HEATED/CUT springs!! Def save and go with spindles to keep your geometry straight and save the rest of your front end from the abuse of spring rape..not to mention tires
