Airzenith OB2 or Viar 480s

Put what you know about the OB2s and 480s here. From what i know it has always been a matter of opinion. Thats put the charts and facts about both here to actually see which ones are better by the numbers. Thanks in advance.

The pair of 480s are a squirt slower than one Airzenith OB2...

Yeah they are. Which I can get the 2 480s for less than one ob2, which is why I went that route. I just can't see spending 800 plus on two ob2s. The 480s are fast enough for me. I dont use THAT much air lol. If you play that much, use nitrogen.

I hate nitrogen with all my heart ha. I agree they are fast enough. It would almost make more sense to get (4) Viar 480s

Yeah Ive actually considered that for my girls rt. I can get 4 480s for 680 and 2 ob2s are around 800

I think that you would have to upgrade alternators too for the large pull those comps would have. Still would be worth it in my opinion.

Yea but, optima's are expensive if you don't get them on the discount. I think i would pay for a beast mode alternator. they are like $350.

You havent changed one on a 4 banger s10 have you? lol. Its the biggest Pain in the ass lol. Optimas are less than 200 now in most places. 180ish in some places. Ive already got one. Had it for about 4 years and for 3 had a 148.0 db system and stock alternator. Could run system for hours with no problem.

Yeah, I would recommend getting an air zenith though.. But like dmac said it's a matter of opinion/preference
