what bags do you prefer??

whats some experience you have had good or bad with some popular bags as far as durability etc etc

i have had my firestones for over a year now and i have driven the hell out of my truck with them on there and have had no problems, need to change my back one out because it rubs a little bit and i dont want it to egg out and pop.....

thats what im runnin up front and i like them but there old and ima need some soon and my back bags shit on me so i gotta order some sooon!

probably going to order some more firestones, might switch it up idno, kinda want some slams but starting to hear alot of bad on them

the only bad things i have heard about slams personally is about the ss series

The firestones on my truck are every bit of 5 plus years old and have been on my truck for 2 and half and Ive drove the shit out of it. I live on gravel and rough ass roads just to get to my house and they hold up just fine. Im not even running shocks in the front and its a smooth ride.

I have shocks on the front of my fiances dakota and my truck ALMOST rides just as good. Hers has slam re-8 and before the shocks it was pretty much stupid to drive it because it bounced so bad and so uneven.

i've heard good things about both slam and firestone but it all depends on the setup and how much space is available. i've been running the RE series slams for 4yrs with no problems at all. i know of other people with firestones that have had the same bags since the 90s. One downside of the firestone i've heard from some nissan users is that they balloon outward in the middle when inflated causing rubbing issues

Popps showed me the new Dominators this past weekend that will get an extra two inches of lift and they compress the same amount as the other bags. So that would be my preference.

Now this is MY opinion....I have been dealing with bags since around '92....back then it was either Firestone or nothing...kinda don't like change so I stick with them....they have been making bags for a looooong time...they make about 80% of the bags on big rigs......I am not a fan of Slam bags but that is my opinion....I just don't like the aluminium top & bottom...crossthread the bolt and trow the bag away....I did jus order the new dominator bags & just by looking at them I really like them.....We will see how they do in time....But just for the record buying bags is like building trucks.....IT'S UP TO YOU......Not everyone likes the same thing.......

i honestly like dominators no one really speaks bad bout them and there pocket friendly

got RE-6 on the front...just ordered dominator 2600s for the rear
