What got you into MiniTruckin?

Post what turned you on to Mini Truckin.


I would have to say seeing chris, cody, and justins trucks back in the day made me hot for mini trucks. I remember the first time i seen a bagged and body dropped truck at a show, i was like "What the Fuck" at that point I knew I would one day have one. I then sold the car I had (99 Kia sophia with 70K miles) for dirt cheap just to buy the s10 I have now (which at the time had 140k miles and was a 93 s10). Some people said it was a dumb decession but i havent regretted it one bit. BTW sold the car for $1800 bought the truck for $1800.

Mine would probably be when you got yours and we started hittin all the shows. It jus took off from there

my neighbor had a bagged s10 when i was younger and that's when i got the sickness...i saw them every now and then and liked them more and more. and years later when i was 16, i got my frontier and it was all downhill from there

id have to say Bills isuzu and Birds s10 were my turning point..had parts to lay out a truck before i actually got a truck..then all the late nights in bills driveway working on the taco really pushed me into the direction that ive been going for that past many years..and it truly is a lifestyle..id take cruising my mini over getting laid any night..well..most nights..ok it really depends on the mood and if i can fit both into the night haha

glad to know i have influenced alot of you!!!! it means alot!!! chris we had some good times on my carport thats for sure... i would have to say that what got me into the minitruckin seen what juno's purple yota...most of u probably never saw it but man that thing was sick and layed hard on those 16s lol... 16s does anyone ever do those anymore....i use to drive by bellsouth everyday when he worked therein carriere just to look at that truck....from the first time i layed eyes on it i was hooked.... i bought the izusu and the rest is history!!!

when i turned 16, my cousin was real big in to car audio so i started hanging out with him at a local stereo shop and a guy who also hung out there had a bagged and bodied mazda and i was hooked.

yea chris's tacoma definitely was motivation for me...especially one time when i was just static and he dragged past me in town, i knew i had to get there one day. and i used to see that isuzu around town and was amazed by it even though i didn't know whose it was at the time. and there was a tan primered yota that i liked a lot too

the tan yota was my boy jason wheats.

The first time i seen a bagged truck was when i was like 13 my step uncle at the time had one but, that wasn't any influence for some reason. I liked it but, didn't think i needed one at the time. What made me decide that i wanted one was when my friends Chris, blake, judgy, etc... were always in a bagged truck no matter where we went. The past few years that is all that i have ridden in. That is what done it for me.

first night I went to an area I knew a lot of people that customized there rides hung out I saw 2 sister bagged and bodied s10's. After that I knew I wanted to work my way up to something like that. 3 years later and 3 trucks later I finally have my first static dropped truck. Only way to go now is the ground
